Your Faithful Queen,
Queen Danielle of Craigslist
Okay, my sincere apologies with the silly beginning, but I just had to go there. I have been navigating Craigslist for over 5 years and one could say that I have a wee bit of knack for finding treasures among a sea of discarded goods. The Queen of Craiglist may be a stretch, but hey it sounds better than Jester which truth be told I am way more a Jester than a Queen. So here's the deal...I plan on 'travelling' Wednesday and Friday of every week. My first destination of course should be our Nations Capital, Washington DC, as in the District of Craigslist. Thanks for coming along for the ride! Please let me know where you would like me to go by leaving a comment.
How about Atlanta? I can never find anything good on Atlanta's Craigslist.
ReplyDeleteYay! Friday Finest for DC area is also my favourite! I am so glad that you have dedicated a site to sieve out through the chaos to find gems! I am definitely a follower!
ReplyDelete@Julie..of course, we'll see what I find.
ReplyDelete@LOPM..thanks, much appreciated!
I would love for you to visit my Philly suburb. What great finds, and a special tour and stay at my home. Most of all are C-list treasures!

As someone who just found your blog two Fridays ago, it is the first one of (too) many that I read on Friday. I live in Arlington, VA and am redoing my house--top to bottom--and I want to do it all on CL!! When I cruise CL, I'm always excited when I've found the same thing as you since my decorating skills are quite limited!
ReplyDeleteHail to the Jester--I mean Queen :)
hahaha. love it!
ReplyDeleteYou are a star . . . and an inspiration! I found a wonderful little lamp with an elephant at the base on CL -- many thanks, Joanne
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone we are a pretty small kingdom of 10 people right now, but that is okay because a jester, I mean Queen, has to start somewhere ;).
ReplyDeleteCongrats. I kinda suck at looking through Craigslist and love the great stuff you find. I should hire you. : )
ReplyDeleteEven if I will not be able to buy any of your great finds(since I live in Sweden) I am so looking foward to see what you have coming up! Your earlier finds have truly inspired me and likewise pieces could probably be found at the Swedish Craigslist named 'Blocket'!
ReplyDeleteI love this. Can't wait to see your finds.
ReplyDeleteI'll be following.
PS Nice chatting with you yesterday.
Kathy

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I will anxiously await your finds and look forward to dreaming about their potential.

ReplyDeleteStyle Maniac...thanks for making me giggle, heehee!
AWESOME! You know you need to come to Palm Beach!
ReplyDeleteThis should be fun. I see you already have Philly on your list, but what about the Jersey shore? I'm always looking for great deals at the beach.
ReplyDeleteOhhh....I'm excited....your CL finds are one of my very favorite blogs.....find yourself a nice crown on CL and all your subjects will pitch in to get it for you....!!
ReplyDeletePlease see what you can find in Myrtle Beach.

ReplyDeleteGreat great idea - and you ARE the queen of Craigslist - at least in our corner of the world!!
ReplyDeleteDanielle- Way to go! And I see Albany, NY is on your sidebar. Our stuff here is so sad compared to the finds in other cities, so if you can find some treasures here I'll coronate you Queen and King as well!
