Welcome to the Kingdom of Craigslist

Hello and welcome my loyal subjects! I have been patiently awaiting your arrival and look forward to sharing my regal Craigslist Finds with you all. Let us hope our Craigslist Kingdom provides us with such a bountiful trove of furniture that we won't need to buy anything new again. I, the Queen, shall travel all over our vast Kingdom to discover the formerly used, but soon to be riches of each humble city. Please join me in my quest!

Your Faithful Queen,
Queen Danielle of Craigslist

Okay, my sincere apologies with the silly beginning, but I just had to go there. I have been navigating Craigslist for over 5 years and one could say that I have a wee bit of knack for finding treasures among a sea of discarded goods. The Queen of Craiglist may be a stretch, but hey it sounds better than Jester which truth be told I am way more a Jester than a Queen. So here's the deal...I plan on 'travelling' Wednesday and Friday of every week. My first destination of course should be our Nations Capital, Washington DC, as in the District of Craigslist. Thanks for coming along for the ride! Please let me know where you would like me to go by leaving a comment.

  7. As someone who just found your blog two Fridays ago, it is the first one of (too) many that I read on Friday. I live in Arlington, VA and am redoing my house--top to bottom--and I want to do it all on CL!! When I cruise CL, I'm always excited when I've found the same thing as you since my decorating skills are quite limited!

Hail to the Jester--I mean Queen :)

  9. Thanks everyone we are a pretty small kingdom of 10 people right now, but that is okay because a jester, I mean Queen, has to start somewhere ;).

  11. Even if I will not be able to buy any of your great finds(since I live in Sweden) I am so looking foward to see what you have coming up! Your earlier finds have truly inspired me and likewise pieces could probably be found at the Swedish Craigslist named 'Blocket'!
